Monday November 4th 2013
This weekend was full of fun and laughter my 3 grandchildren came over to celebrate our youngest grand daughters Sophia's birthday, first we arrived at  Monkey Joe's which is an inflatable bouncy house. I would love to have the energy they have , I still have lots of it just would like a little more LOL
After about an hour they were all tuckered out that was quick, we then packed up the car and proceeded to go home to have the rest of our party, we had to make a quick stop at Target , and then off to the party, Sophia was so excited she could barley contain herself now if I didn't tell you , she has the most feisty spirit and I love it she will never let anyone walk all over her , real independent she is .
We finally arrive at the house and I let her know I will cover her eyes so she can be really surprised ,well if you could have seen the look on her face when she saw the whole dining room decked out with Hello Kitty , it was priceless.
She is obessed with Minnie Mouse and Doc Mc Stuffin and Hello Kitty,   we made sure we had lots these presents for her ,we asked what she wanted for her birthday dinner  she said I want Chinese Food , how funny is she , as we are waiting for the chinese food they take all of the 50 ballons we blew up and proceeded to bring them out doors to play with them  , is there anything better than Grandchildren , you get to do all the things you couldn't do with your own in fear of spoiling them too much, what a joy to not have to worry about this , now don't get me wrong I still have guidelines for them just not as strict as when I was raising my own , we enjoyed a great day of laughter and fun , I love my grandbabies so much ,it was the best weekend and the Holidays are right around the corner so I get to spoil them some more . I  can't wait  I hope everyone has an Awesome week and may you enjoy the small things in life and give your problems to your creator he gets just as much joy in taking care of us as we do with our Children and Grand Children.
Remember life is to short to be Stressed so Be Blessed

Does Your Heart Murmur

Hello  All,
Hope everyone is doing okay ? It has been ages since I have posted on here ,life has been extremely busy since my promotion , every time I think life is slowing down bang here comes something else, who ever said middle age is slower was mistaken , I'm busier now than ever , had  a few moments to browse the web always looking for new ideas for my home ,while surfing the web I came across this unbelievable devotion .hope you are as blessed as I was ,hopefully I will be able to post a little more now that the colder weather is upon us .

Does Your Heart Murmur?
There is a repulsive and harmful sin lodged deeply in the hearts of many Christians. The harm and contagiousness of this unsightly little “virus” is usually underestimated. Although there are few messages heard about this infectious “disease,” the Bible clearly lists this sin along with the sins of idolatry, lust, and sexual sins. In 1 Cor. 10:10, we have this command, “Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.”
The sin of murmuring is way to prevalent in the lives of believers. It is often overlooked and is even categorized as being acceptable and  justified at times.Remember God never changes; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is also important to remember that, in the Bible days, God hated complaining to the extent that sometimes the consequences of it was death. God still hates murmuring, and He clearly commands us NOT to do it! “Do everything without complaining and
arguing.” (Phil. 2:14)
God has been clearly pointing out this sin in my own life, and I desire to be completely set free from this awful habit. When I experience a frustrating situation, I find it much to easy to tell someone
about it, rather than learning what God wants me to learn from it. In return, my murmuring spirit “infects” others, and they can also become discouraged or frustrated about it. I have come to realize that everyone murmurs and complains. Some complain a little while others complain a lot. However, it doesn’t matter to God whether it’s a little or a lot. It does not become sin after it is a habit or pattern for you. Complaining is SIN…the first time you do it! Every time you murmur or complain you break many of God’s commands.
When we complain about those in authority, we are actually murmuring against God, since He put them in a position of authority over us. Also, when we complain to someone who cannot help to solve the problem, we miss the opportunity that God gave in allowing us to experience it. We usually complain to others instead of crying out to God to deliver us from the situation. It is true that we all need someone close to us who we can confide in about our trials and frustrations. But, we usually use this as an excuse to justify our bad habit of murmuring.
This morning, I was sitting outside on our porch enjoying the beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was having my personal time alone with God, surrounded by the serene and breathtaking nature that surrounded me. God spoke to me and miraculously prepared me for the events of my day. These are some of the quotes from my devotional book that were directly for me. “Let me help you get through this day…One way is to moan and groan, stumbling along with shuffling feet. This will get you to the end of the day eventually, but there is a BETTER way. You can choose to walk with ME along the path of Peace, leaning on ME as much as you need.. .Thank ME for each problem you encounter, and watch to see how I transform trials into blessings.”
I had a perfect day filled with many opportunities to do just that! Did I always remember to respond the right way? No, I definitely did not! It has been a day that I am grateful that I won’t have to repeat! After multiple twists and turns in trying to meet the deadlines and demands of the day, I was faced with a decision. God finally got my attention, and I prayed something like this, “Oh God, You know all the things that are needing my attention right now. God, I don’t understand why You have me sitting here in the garage with an overheated van for all these hours–only to find out now that they can’t even fix it today! You know that I wanted to write my blog today so I could be at home tonight
with my family. God, I really feel like complaining to someone right now, but at this moment I am
choosing to NOT go by my feelings, but I am choosing to do what is right. I praise and thank You for all the blessings I have. I am choosing joy and gratefulness rather than the sin of having a murmuring heart. You know that I can’t do this on my own, God. I need YOU to help me!”

Here are five steps that  are recommended in conquering a murmuring heart.
 These are
1) Recognize the ways that you have murmured.
2) Realize that your murmuring is against God.
3) Confess your sin and ask God to forgive you.
4) Acknowledge your murmurings to those who heard you.
 5) Turn your murmurings into praise and blessing.

Examine your own heart! Could God diagnose you with a heart “murmur?” Do you have the
tendency to murmur and complain? Do you react when you are asked to do something that you really don’t want to do? Do you complain about your frustrating situations, rather than thanking God for what He is going to do because of them? Do you discuss your problems with others who aren’t part of the problem or who can’t help you with a solution? When others complain to you, do you take up offenses for other people, or do you help them reconcile their issues? Remember, you can have a murmuring and complaining heart without even saying a word. Join me in making a conscious effort to STOP COMPLAINING!
“Gratitude and murmuring never abide in the same heart at the same time.”

Blessed Are Your Baskets, Kneading Bowls And Nets!

Deuteronomy 28:5
5
“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

In Bible times, reapers carried baskets on their backs to collect the harvest from the fields. They had to ensure that their baskets were strong and sturdy, so that what they collected would not fall out. The women of that day used kneading bowls to knead dough for making bread. If they used poor-quality bowls which broke easily, they would not be able to make bread.

So baskets and kneading bowls in those days represented the means by which one got his tangible blessings. Beloved, your Father in heaven does not want you to worry about the means by which you get your blessings. Because of the sacrifice of Christ, He says to you, “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.”

This means that if you are a cab driver, your cab will not break down on your rounds because God says to you, “Blessed shall be your cab.” If you are a businessman, your capital investment will not fail you because God says to you, “Blessed shall be your capital investment.” And if you are a salesman, your products will be looked upon favorably because God says to you, “Blessed shall be your products.”

These blessings are yours because Jesus paid for them with His death and He enforced them with His resurrection.

On one occasion, Jesus told Peter to throw his nets into the water. When Peter threw one net down, he caught so much fish that the net “was breaking”. To save the bumper haul, the other disciples quickly filled their boats with the fish, lest the net gave way completely. (Luke 5:4–7)

After Jesus rose from the dead, a similar incident took place. Once again, Jesus asked His disciples to cast their net out. They caught a multitude of fish. But “although there were so many, the net was not broken”. (John 21:11) Notice that in the first case, the net was breaking. In the second case, it was not! Something supernatural happened to their nets after Jesus rose from the dead!

Beloved, because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, not only are you blessed (Ephesians 1:3), but your nets, baskets and kneading bowls — the means by which you obtain your blessings — are also blessed!

Thank your Way to Peace

Philippians 4:6

6*Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

You would probably have read this verse before, but would you like to know how to apply it in your everyday life? Let me give you an illustration to help you.

Let’s say that you are one of those in your company eligible for a promotion and you will know tomorrow whether you get it. You want the promotion badly because it means more income for your family. So you lie in bed at night tossing and turning. You pray, “Father, please take away all my worries about this promotion. Give me faith.” One hour later, you are more anxious than ever. It seems like God is not answering your prayer!

How come? Because you are not doing it God’s way.

Pray like this instead: “Father, I cast all my worries about the promotion into Your loving hands because You care for me and love me.” The Bible tells us to cast all our cares upon the Lord for He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7) Then, say, “Father, I would like to have the promotion.” It is okay to ask Him for that. Now, here comes the most powerful part — thanksgiving. Finish off with thanksgiving. Thank God for His faithfulness.

Say something like, “Father, whether I get the promotion or not, I thank You that You will always provide for my family with more than enough. You who feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field will take care of us. So I am not going to worry about this promotion. You are the source of all my blessings.” (Matthew 6:30, Philippians 4:19)

When you pray like this, all of a sudden, you are no longer held hostage by the promotion. I call this the “thank You” therapy. The more you know God’s Word, the more you can thank Him. The more you thank Him, the more His peace reigns in your heart. And many a time, before you know it, it is morning! You don’t even remember falling asleep. The peace of God reigns like that.

My friend, whatever your concern is, bring it to your Father in prayer and thank your way to peace!

The Humbled Heart !!!

Practice Humility toward one another. I oppose the proud
. But I give my Amazing Grace to those who are humble
Your God who is Gentle and Humble in Heart
1st Peter 5:5
I am going to tell you a secret that will make you feel a whole lot better about yourself
it's something you've allowed yourself to consider before.....
but not for very long.
The very essence of this secret will make you bristle, even though you know that accepting it will ease your mind, calm your spirit, and even whet your appetite for growth.
Are you ready? I know you can handle it. though not everyone can. Here goes,You are not always right. I saw you smile, because you I'm right -well about this, anyway Trying to be right about everything is a load you cannot carry, and the cost is far more than you can afford. The next time you look in the mirror, you may remind yourself of this secret.
And I'll tell you another secret-admitting that you're not always right make you even more lovable than you alreay are- if that's possible.

God Created the world out of nothing and
so long as we are nothing, he can make something out of nothing.

The Victorious Heart

If  I am for you who can be against you? You are much more than a victorious conqueror through me.
Nothing can stop me from loving you -not death or life, angels or demons current circumstances or anything in the future. Know that nothing and no one in All the entire world can seperate you from my totally awesome and indescribable love.
   Love Always and Unconditionally
Your God of Victory  Romans 8:31-39

With tears staining  your cheeks and pride swelling your heart, you smile for the cheering thousands. The Tv cameras pan the audience until they finally focus on your proud family, who is cheering encouragement to you and telling all within that you belong to them

Most of us will never know the exhilaration of winning a Gold Medal at the Olympics

. But in our imaginations, we've all proudly stood on that top platform....
If only it could be true .

Your world may be filled with challenges just trying as those faced by top Olympic contenders, but no roaring crowds cheer you on, and no one offers you a gold medal for your valiant efforts to win this game called life.

But wait. . . if you listen closely, you might hear the faint sound of cheering. And as you open your heart to the possibilites, the cheers will become louder and louder as you discover their source. Hebrews 12 says that we have a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, cheering us to run with perserverance  the race marked out for us. More than spectators, these witnesses are previous competitors, and they understand the sacrifices you're making and the pain you've endured.

And if you'll pan the crowd , you'll see your ather- he's the one leading the cheer. Arms rasied, index finger extended, he's shouting to you "You're" Number one!  "You're" number one! Besides him is your Master, Friend Lover and and most of all Savoir Jesus  He's turning to others in the crowd, excitedly telling All that you belong to him

 You are declared the Winner!

The Forgiven Heart

To all of my Followers,

I would like ask Forgiveness to all I have offended,
I have not been as diligent in saying and doing what I have made committments to on Blogger,  Please if you can find it your  heart to forgive me I would be truly Thankful, I am trying to honor God the best way I know how, and there is no better way than to say I am sorry  and  ask for your forgiveness, and begin Anew,  I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

God Bless all of you.

Good news!
Everyone who believes in me receives total forgiveness of sin through my name. There isn't any condemnation. Because of what I did at Calvary, you've been set free from the law of sin and death. Your record has been wiped clean, I forgive and Forget!
                                            Love ,
                         Your Savior and Forgiving
                                        Jesus
                           Acts 10:43
                           Romans 8:1-2
                           Hebrews 10:17

" You Are Forgiven"

Just Words? No- much more. The mere utterance of these three little words can free prisoners from guilt in an instant. Say the words quietly to yourself ; then speak them boldly to needy souls around you. Graciously accepting the forgiveness freely given to us by God. we are compelled to become conduits of forgiveness for others.

Someone near you needs forgiveness today.
You hold the power to free them. If the offense was committed against you, remember  your own undeserved forgiveness; draw from that abundant supply and share what has been given you- it is not yours to hoard. If the offense is against someone else, speak a word of testimony about God"s loving forgiveness and encourage actions that lead to healing

Forgiveness releases others from their indebtedness to us, and releases us from our indebtedness to them- both freed to Love.
You have been given a precious power. Receive and give it generously and often

Your Advocate Always Wins Your Case

Your Advocate Always Wins Your Case
1 John 2:11
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

If you want a glimpse of some real-life celestial drama, picture this: God the Father sits as Judge of the universe with Jesus Christ at His right hand, who is not only your High Priest, but also your Advocate.
When your accuser, the devil, comes along and says, “You have done this wrong and you have not done that right,” Jesus says, “Father, the devil is right, but My blood has paid for what the devil is accusing him of.”

Then the devil adds, “You have also not been reading the Bible or praying enough. And this morning, you told a lie.”

Again, Jesus will say, “Father, the devil has indeed reported correctly, but My blood has paid for all these failures.”

God the Father will then slam the gavel on the sound block and say, “Case dismissed! Next!”

You need to understand that God can justly declare you innocent and completely righteous because Jesus took your place at the cross, and shed His blood to pay for your sins and condemnation. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God is simply being faithful and just to what Christ has done.

When Jesus rose from the grave, He rose as your Advocate, your lawyer. But unlike most earthly lawyers who take on cases because it serves their interests and wallets, He is a lawyer who is personally interested in your happiness and well-being. Unlike earthly lawyers who are not caught up in the feelings and sufferings of their clients, Jesus went through great sufferings for you and paid with His own life so that you can receive all the blessings of God.
As your Advocate today, Jesus ensures that what He died and suffered to give you, you get! In heaven today, He defends and represents you to ensure that the healing, wholeness, protection and other blessings that He died to give you are enforced in your life. Beloved, have confidence in and rest in the ability of your Advocate!

A Grateful Heart

I would like to give praise and honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , for taking my place so I may sit with him at the right hand of the Father, just think we are Righteous because he his righteous,we are holy because he is Holy, what an awesome plan the Father had for our redemption to send his only Son to take the place of All mankind, once we were lost now we are found because he drew us unto himself. there are many things that we can have in our life, if we would just see that all our endeavors to do right, and also think that if we just live a Good life and do right by others then we shall be saved , how many of you have ever told a lie and said to yourself it is only a little lie and God will understand, or if you ever stole something and you thought it is only this, and no way God will be upset, well let me tell you a little story, if a man or women were caught stealing and when confronted they lied and said they never stole but it was caught on camera, then they have to go before the Judge and he says to you ,do you have anything you would like to say before I pass your judgement down on you, and you say to the Judge you seem like a very nice, and honest man could you go easy on me, the Judge then says you are right because I am such honest and fair man it would be wrong of me to not make sure you are punished for your crimes, well in it is the same for God how do you expect a God who is full of integrity to not make you reap that what you Sow, there is no way he will be able to do that he can't, he stands for purity and accepts nothing less from Us , well my friend I am here to tell you that God is a merciful God so if you lay all your life before him open and willing to freely let him be your Savior I promise you that you will not be disappointed . may you be Blessed on the Journey he has for you .God Bless Linda

Don’t Be Dust-Conscious

Luke 13:11

11And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.
Imagine being bowed over for 18 years. All you would see is the dust on the ground. That was the predicament of the woman in Luke 13. Dust was all her eyes fell on, all the time, everywhere she went, until she became dust-conscious. Thank God she finally saw the beautiful feet of Jesus, who brought her good news and raised her up.
Now, dust is the devil’s food. The Bible tells us that God cursed the devil to eat dust all the days of his life. (Genesis 3:14) Dust represents death. (Genesis 3:19) The devil wants you to be like him — to fall flat on your belly, crawl and eat dust. To eat dust is to feed on your shortcomings and lack, until you constantly feel that there is so much in your life that you need to clean up. You may not be physically bowed over, but like the woman, you become dust-conscious and life every day is a struggle.
Having a dust-consciousness also affects the way you see others. You look at people’s faults all the time. You point out their shortcomings and rake up their past failures. When you are dust-conscious, you find your relationships robbed of peace and joy.
And if you, like the woman, keep looking at the dust, before long, that inward position of dust-consciousness becomes so entrenched that you become the devil’s food because dust is what he eats. God’s Word describes him as being like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)
If you don’t want to be devoured by him, then lift your eyes above the dust! Instead of looking at your failures, look to Christ who has delivered you from every defeat. See yourself the way God sees you — righteous and holy in Christ. (Colossians 3:12, 2 Corinthians 5:21) You are not dust because you are not in and of the flesh — you are in and of the Spirit. (Romans 8:9)
My friend, the more you realize who you are in Christ, the more you will straighten up and walk the way God sees you — a new creation with His authority, power and overcoming Spirit!

Be Not Weary

Good Afternoon Everyone , I am so Thankful to have a God who truly understands us,  I was at Church last night and I was feeling  a little discouraged , do you ever feel like what you do in life is all for not . you press on and keep pushing and the tasks never seem to end, you try to  pour  in to peoples lives daily and then Bam it hits you , all this sometimes seem to be for nothing,  do the people your pouring into really care at all what you are doing,  and are they receiving any of it . and then I remember how Christ poured  out his Life for us so that we could have eternal Salvation with him , did  he ever got discouraged that everything he was doing never was for not , did he think do they really even care that I am going to be beaten an bruised for them,  hung on a cross and spit at , NO he just hung there for us and that brings encouragement back to me because if he could do ALL that just so I could spend Eternity with him and have the Choice to choose what I want from him whether to believe  or not to believe.then the little bit of discouragement I feel is actually very selfish of me because who am I really thinking about not the People BUT myself and that is not being Christ Like so my Friends if you are feeling down and know the Lord just try to Imagine all that he did for you so you would'nt have to feel the pain and I am sure you will get Encouraged   Galatians 6:9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.My friend I pray you may have Blessed week and know that God is there with you in All you go through, God Bless Linda
